5th Grade Plastique Anime

5th graders at CCE are moving to the music! Our music teacher (who was just chosen as Eanes ISD District Teacher of the Year!) taught students about the concept of plastique animé. Plastique animé involves matching physical movements to music. 

Mrs. Milburn chose to use “The Royal March of the Lion” as the song. Students formed groups to complete their plastique animé, and watched several examples of plastique animé. Each group scanned a QR code that linked to the song so that they could listen to it as many times as they needed. Here is the song: 

Students also used a storyboard to plan their plastique animé. The storyboard was divided into 4 different sections that matched the sections of the song.
